Certification Process

Eligibility

Eligibility varies by certification level.

General Guidelines:

1. Foundation-level certifications (SFC)

  • Open to all candidates
  • No mandatory prerequisites
  • Course completion recommended before taking the exam

2. Advanced or Professional-level certifications (SMC, SPOC, SAMC etc)

  • May require prior certification
  • Relevant work experience may be required
  • Completion of accredited training program may be mandatory

How to Schedule Exam

For Proctored Exams

To schedule the exam:

  1. Login to online.vmedu.com
  2. Go to My Exams from the left panel
  3. Search for your certification
  4. Click "Schedule Exam"
    • a.Verify your details (Name and Email ID) and click Continue.
    • b.Select your Time Zone.
    • c.Choose the correct date and preferred time slot.
    • d.Click Continue.
    • e.Review your details and confirm your selection.

You will receive an email confirmation with the exam details. The meeting link along with the exam instructions will be sent to your registered email ID one day prior to the scheduled exam date.

For Non-Proctored Exams

To take a non-proctored exam:

  1. Login to online.vmedu.com
  2. Go to My Exams
  3. Search for your certification
  4. Click Take Exam or Retake Exam
  5. Select language
  6. Begin the exam

After passing, your certificate will be available under: My Certificates tab

Exam Environment & Requirements

To ensure a smooth experience, please review the requirements carefully.

1 Technical Requirements

You must have:

  • Working webcam (mandatory for proctored exams)
  • Ability to share screen
  • Stable internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps recommended)
  • Updated browser (Chrome recommended)
  • Quiet, well-lit room

N.B: Mobile devices are not recommended for proctored exams.

2 Meeting Links (Proctored Exams)
  1. The meeting link will be sent to your registered email one day prior to the scheduled exam time.
  2. The same link will also be available in the My Exams section of your account.
  3. If you have not received the link:
    • a.Please check your Spam/Junk folder.
    • b.Ensure that your registered email ID is correct in our records.
    • c.Please contact the Support Team to obtain the exam link.
3 Unable to Join the Exam ?

If you are unable to join the exam, please try the following steps:

  1. Refresh the browser or try joining using a different browser.
  2. Reopen the meeting link sent to your registered email ID.
  3. Restart your system, if required.
  4. Check your internet connection.

If the issue persists:

  • Contact Support immediately through the Help Desk.
  • Mention your exam details and scheduled exam time clearly.
4 Webcam is not working while joining the Google Meeting ?

Please try the following steps:

  1. Ensure your webcam is properly connected and not being used by any other application.
  2. Check camera permissions in your browser and allow access for Google Meet.
  3. Select the correct camera device in Google Meet settings.
  4. Refresh the browser or rejoin the meeting.
  5. Try joining the meeting using a different browser (Google Chrome is recommended).
  6. Restart your system if required.
5 Screen Share Issue

If you are facing issues while sharing your screen in the Google Meet link, please follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure you have granted screen sharing permissions in your browser.
  2. Close any other applications that may be using screen sharing.
  3. Select the correct option (Entire Screen / Window / Tab) while sharing.
  4. Refresh the browser and rejoin the meeting.
  5. Try using a different browser (Google Chrome is recommended).
  6. Restart your system if required.

Pre-Exam Checklist

Before your exam begins, please ensure the following:

  • Webcam is working properly
  • Internet connection is stable
  • Quiet room is ready
  • Screen sharing is tested and working
  • Government-issued ID is available (such as a passport or driving licence)

Please join the exam link at least 15 minutes before the scheduled exam time.

During the Exam (Rules)

For Proctored Exams
  • Webcam must remain ON at all times during the exam.
  • Screen sharing must remain active throughout the exam.
  • No external assistance is allowed.
  • Use of mobile phones or secondary devices is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not switch tabs or applications during the exam.
  • No unauthorized materials are permitted.
  • Follow the proctor's instructions at all times.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate exam termination.

For Non-Proctored Exams
  • Ensure a stable internet connection throughout the exam.
  • Do not refresh or reload the exam page during the exam.
  • Complete the exam within the allotted time.

After the Exam (Results & Certificate)

Results
  • Exam results will be available after evaluation as per the exam guidelines.
  • You will receive a result notification via email once the results are declared.
  • If you pass the exam, your certificate will be issued and made available in your account.
  • You can download the certificate from the My Certificates section.
Certificate Issuance

Once you pass:

  • Your certificate will be issued after the results are declared.
  • The certificate will be available in your account under My Certificates.
  • You can download the certificate directly from the portal.
If You Do Not See Your Certificate
  • Please allow some time for the certificate to be issued after results are declared.
  • Refresh your account and check the My Certificates section.
  • Ensure your name and email ID are correctly updated in your profile.
  • If the issue persists, please contact Support through the Help Desk with your exam details.
